White Wine on The Moon Again with Killer Brilliance

White Wine have swiftly become repeat offenders on The Moon as their second LP was featured back in April 2016. The duo have since become a trio with the addition of Chistian Kuhr on drums. The new LP carries on the inventive and thoroughly modern rock n' roll from its predecessor and is described by band leader Joe Haeg, in the blurb on the Bandcamp page, as:

"the most realised, intense and, at times, horrifying music of his career. The product of 18 months spent touring together, Killer Brilliance emerged, he says, from the trio’s need to get something dark and sinister out of our systems, and this is reflected, too, in the album’s title. We're all killers in some way or another, he continues. Some kill hope. Some kill honesty. Some kill fear. Some kill greed. Some kill out of greed. All kill, in some ways, for our sheer survival. However, the underlying fact is that so many ways of killing are simply amazing in their complexity. When you really dig into the details, one can see how there is no escaping a little bit of blood on everybody's hands.

It is made up of nine songs, but their edges are smoothed out a bit by five short instrumentals with spoken word vignettes. It was released at the end of September with sadly little fanfare here in Brexshit Blighty and I was only made aware of it via a Spotify Release Radar email. Check it out via Bandcamp below and if it floats yer boat then you can listen to its equally impressive predecessor via Soundcloud here
