TORRES on the Moon

Not much has really floated my boat recently, but the second LP from Nashville's Torres does the trick. It has been compared with PJ Harvey, especially as it was recorded down in the West Country with long time PJ Harvey collaborator Rob Ellis and Ian Olliver - her original bass player. However, it is actually rather diverse, from PJ Harvey at her most rock 'n' roll and dramatic, to a track that would be a great addition to Ultraviolence by Lana Del Rey and then Sharon Van Etten in-between, along with some extra invention. So if that sounds like your cup of tea then check it out via Spotify below or the usual places.
