Sharon Van Etten - Are We There on the Moon

This album has been highly recommended all round as was Tramp her previous album that I did check out but failed to get into. It sounded great and her voice is great but I just did not pick up the songs. This new album is very different and is quite a departure from the indie rock of Tramp to a more mainstream sound but it is done incredibly well. The songs are all great and her voice has got even better. The change in sound is at its most marked on Your Love is Killing Me which could well be one for Dame Shirley Bassey.
