Martha - Courting Strong on the Moon

Martha are a band from just north of The North featuring a brother and sister on vocals. They remind me of early Arctic Monkeys or The Wind-up Birds, but less cynical and political and with lots of charm. However, the songs are not necessarily charming , with some inspired by growing up in a "town that time forgot" or by the work and lives of poets and writers.

They are very much worth the bother.
