Moon Film Reviews: This is Where I Leave You and Fury
Your Cultural Correspondent (Film and Theatre) would like to give you a bit of context about his lunch-time viewing of 'This is where I leave you'. Three or four seats down from him was a Cockney lady of indeterminate years. Handing her Mother her extra large hotdog, she asked, 'Mam, do you want your Stella?'
As for the film, it bore out what Your Cultural Correspondent (Film and Theatre) has long thought and often said. If you want to see people as they really are, don't see them at a wedding. See them at a funeral. For that's where people are most real. Thus it was with this special film. As funny as it was poignant with lovely music.
