Moon Film Review: Belle

The posters for 'Belle' scream 'From the producers of 'The Iron Lady''.  But don't let that put you off the film for, unlike its predecessor, it's quite good.  It would be even better without its tendency to schmaltz, but your Cultural Correspondent (Film and Theatre) couldn't fault the acting of those staple British troopers: Sir (pending) Tom Wilkinson, Dame(hood pending) Miranda Richardson, Dame(hood pending) Emily Watson and, above all, Dame(hood shockingly overdue) Penelope Wilton.  Marvellous!
