Daily Moon Film Review: This must be the place

Our correspondent wonders, having seen 'This must be the place' last night, whether, apart from talk sense about the South Atlantic, there is nothing Mr Sean Penn cannot do? His performance was as astonishing as his performance in 'Milk', but unlike that film, the script of his latest was very poor. Apart from Mr Penn, the highlight of the evening was an Italian acquaintance spending the entire film with her scarf covering her nose and complaining at the end to the cinema attendant about the cinema selling popcorn and thus the screen stinking of the stuff. 'You should sell Heston Blumenthal's popcorn ice cream instead. That doesn't smell.' Pure class.
