Our correspondent thinks 'Rampart' is really excellent. Mr Woody
Harrelson was very magnificent indeed. It was the second film of the day
containing wonderful acting. The first was 'The Best Exotic Marigold
Hotel'. Our correspondent thinks the critics must have seen a different version of
the film to him. True it is light stuff, but it is very, very funny and
also very poignant. But above all, it ccontains
acting that should make any British person proud to be from Blighty.
Aside from the beauty of Dames Judi and Maggie, the performance of Miss
Penelope Wilton was the highlight of the film and almost stole the
picture. If she does not get a Damehood in Her Majesty's Birthday
Honours list, our correspondent thinks there'll be a letter going to the Palace.
