Moon Film Review: The BFG

Your Cultural Correspondent (Film & Theatre) think that there are many ways of describing 'The BFG'. Examples include 'Beautiful, Fabulous, Gorgeous', 'Bl**dy, F**king, Great'. It is a magnificent film. The script was marvellous, the acting was top notch, and the visuals were intoxicating. 

And, as if that weren't enough, there is a cameo from Dame Penelope Wilton playing Her Majesty The Queen. If you were ever in any doubt about why Dame Penelope deserves her Damehood, all you need to do is watch her face after she's taken a sip of the drink offered to her by The BFG. Absolutely sublime!
