Moon Film Reviews: The Danish Girl and Joy

Your Cultural Correspondent (Film and Theatre) thinks that 'The Danish Girl' can be reviewed in four words, 'engrossing throughout, moving fleetingly'.

'Joy' needs a little more analysis. Some tip top acting amongst quite a bit of nonsense, one very moving section, and a revelatory performance from Melissa Rivers, playing her mother. Now what was it that Mr Wilde said?
