"The reduction achieved by cuts has been trivial. All the deadlines have been missed. Progress over three years has been pretty well non-existent. Indeed the overall level of government debt as a proportion of GDP is significantly higher than he said it would be and seems to be heading unstoppably towards 100% of GDP."
