Moon Film Reviews: Moonrise Kingdom and A Queen is Crowned

Our Film Correspondent thinks that despite the excellence of the two young leads 'Moonrise Kingdom' was rubbish. However, 'A Queen is Crowned' was magnificent for many reasons not least for a) the elderly lady a few seats down from  our correspondent  who sang along to the marching bands ('Rule Britannia', 'Land of Hope and Glory' etc) in the style of Dame Hilda Bracket and led the applause at the end having spent the last five minutes of the film spraying herself with perfume; and (b) the man who on seeing Sir Winston Churchill processing down the aisle of the Abbey shouted out 'The politicians have all the power. She has no power; but she's a very nice lady.'!
