Your Cultural Correspondent (Film and Theatre) thinks it is very fitting that for a film about players, the players were so marvellous.
We write, of course, about 'Birdman'. What a splendid end to 2014's cultural (film and theatre) musings. Especial plaudits to Mr Edward Norton (the naughty boy) and Miss Naomi Watts (another stellar performance) and, above all, to Miss Lindsay Duncan whose cameo very nearly stole the show.
