Girl One and the Grease Guns on the Moon
A great name and a great discovery thanks to The Finest Kiss. Another mysterious "Brighton based" band although the pronunciation on Bashed, Beaten and Broken is pretty God's Own like. They marry great songs/lyrics with many of the best sounds from the brief golden era of the early 80s with some great distortion and static sounds. They have not released an LP yet but what they have released is better - four singles and an EP via Squirrel Records. Check out all 13* great tracks on a playlist below.
30/11/25 - Another Update - not all of the tracks from the original Spotify Playlist are now on Spotify but all of them, plus one other track, can be found on this compilation on Bandcamp. The rest of their releases, including their one LP, I have now brought together on this Bandcamp playlist
