Courtney Barnett on the Moon

This was released late last year and is a combination of two EPs she released in Australia that and the track "Avant Gardener" got on to the God Is On The TV tracks of the year. The EPs do make a most impressive album. She is so obviously far too cool for school but she pulls it off effortlessly even when deploying a glam rock riff. With songs that sound like they were written by Evan Dando and Tom Morgan of The Lemonheads, sung by Hope Sandoval of Mazzy Star and with some of the quirkiness of early Catlin Rose.
