Gemma Hayes - Let it Break and Much More

The beguiling newish album from Miss Hayes is available on Spotify An extended version has also been released, see below for more details.

This album is not as contrasting as her previous excellent album "The Hollow of Morning", which was a well balanced mix of acoustic songs and her love of My Bloody Valentine and featured none other than Kevin Shields himself. It also does not contain much of the middle of the road stuff that dominated her second album "The Road Don't Love You". Instead guitar is replaced by keyboard and "artful electronics".

All her albums, including the tracks on the US and origional versions of her debut "Night on my Side" are available on Spotify and Deezer which includes all the songs from her 4.35am EP apart from the lead track and still her finest moment "Gotta Low" which is also one of the Moon's favourite songs.

In contrast this is her at her most My Bloody Valentine like
From Night on My Side:

Grooveshark does not have many tracks from her last 3 albums but does have 4 tracks from the Oliver EP from 2009 which is what makes up the extended version of her latest album. Not included for some reason is "November" but as ever it is available via Ubend
