Unlikely Friends on the Moon

Unlikely Friends were brought to my attention by the Finest Kiss blog featuring their single Soft Reputation late last year. They are from Seattle and on their Bandcamp page it informs us they are "Charles Bert from Math & Physics Club, Dee Krain from BOAT, and Chris Mac from too many projects to list here." 

This album sounds rather like REM at their most muscular but with a bit of They Might be Giants thrown in.

It is pretty short with a few very shorts tracks but they are either pretty amusing or are great little vignettes and overall it is a very enjoyable listen. Check it out via Spotify below.

Math & Physics Club have released three albums which are on Spotify but sadly not Deezer and BOAT have released five albums which are all available on both.
